Found matching deeper hued cobalt 6/0 glass seed beads to go with the yarn! This went to Lena, an old HS friend who adores this color as much as I do.

The yarn is a stunning ocean deep blue color that I wish I had more of. Not all of madtosh colorways are the same and I found future versions of Baltic at my lys to not be as intense as this first one.

I did Turkish Rug (A2) 8 repeats to B1 Teardrop Edging and then B2 to make points. If I followed the pattern completely, I would’ve had just enough including the bind off, I suspect.

Used the entire skein of Tosh Sock to do the shawl + 2 more rows of chart B2.
I used my Sundara Sock Cobalt over Mediterraean for the edging using a russian join with the leftover tosh from the end of B2.

I didn’t like the edging that was in the pattern and so used the Elastic Bind off:
K1, (k1, transfer 2 sts back to left needle and k2tog through the back loops)

In Chart B2, I added a Bead between the YOs only. So it would be YO, beaded knit stitch, YO.
I also added another two rows.
“R7” = k2, yo, k3, k2tog, k3, yo, beaded knit, (repeat as in the charted row below) yo, k3, ssk, k3, yo, k1 (Center stitch),
”R8” = purl across

Used Sundara’s Cobalt over Mediterranean Sock yarn to do the bind off, color matched/highlighted the beads. Love it!
Week 1&2: 335 yards.
Week 3: 65 yards.
