Project had to be restarted several times due to twisting my circular join, messing up short rows, etc. Once I understood how the project was crafted and mastered my short rows it went much faster!
I wanted this bandana to be more fitted and I generally knit pretty loose so I used worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles. I used the travelling loop method with a 32” circular and it worked just fine. I completed my wrap and turns using the shadow wrap method illustrated here.
Mods: shadow wraps, no chain of stitches on border, fewer decrease rows to accommodate for more short rows.
For worsted weight yarn:
CO 102 stitches, slip final cast on stitch over first stitch to join in the round, 101 stitches.
Set-up round: purl all stitches
Round 1: k49, s2kpo, k to end of round
Round 2: p48, s2ppo (same as s2kpo but purl instead of knit), p to end of round
Round 3: k47, s2kpo, k to end of round
Round 4: p46, s2ppo, p to end of round (93 stitches)
