Started to knit this with a 2.25mm needle, but the socks were too tight to get over my heel. I do have a man’s foot though, so I guess it was to be expected.

Started again using a 2.75mm needle for the colour work portion - the fit is much better.

Instead of following the pattern exactly I used the charts and adapted them to my own standard way of making socks.
