SOCKDOWN 8! SEPTEMBER 2014

I don’t know that white is a good idea for socks but that’s all I had in my stash and I was too eager to cast on to wait until I could place an order.

03/10: These are pretty slow going for me, partly because there is so much going on that the knitting itself is slow but mostly because there isn’t that much knitting time right now, with a newborn baby in my arms.
I did manage to make some good progress so today tough and have almost finished the heel flap on the first sock. I’m really loving this design so far, it’s coming out so pretty!

15/10: Starting on the toe decreases on the second sock. Will be finished in no time :)

16/10: All done and loving them! It was my first Claire Ellen Designs pattern and I cant wait to make more of her designs. I love all the cables and intricate little details. It makes the knitting so much fun and the end result is stunning.

Notes: The only thing I did different is to work the yarn-overs through the back loops to avoid the holes. Just a personal preference :)
