I told him I was knitting him a birthday skirt, and he wanted none of it.

During his birthday nap, I magically felted it into a pirate hat, just in time for our pirate cruise! We went on the Great Lakes Pirates cruise on the Windy, which I highly highly recommend.

He wouldn’t even try on the hat until the “real” pirates were floored that I’d made it, and wanted me to make them hats. Then he wouldn’t take it off, of course.
