This project was started by a friend of mine, and I finished knitting it for her.

The yarn is a bit stiff to work with (its 45% cotton and that tends to be inflexible). However, I think this will be a great sweater for our relatively warm fall and spring days and even for our often warm winters. (It just doesn’t get too cold in this part of the country typically.)

USE CAUTION WHEN WASHING
Beware when washing this. A normal soak as I’d typically do for handwashing wool caused the darker color (red) to bleed all over the lighter color (grey). Luckily I noticed it right away. My washing machine doesn’t have a great delicate cycle but I figured it may be ruined anyway so I had nothing to lose and tossed it on in with three color-catcher sheets and a small amount of detergent suitable for use in cold water. Fortunately it washed the deposited dye off so the FO was saved…but proceed with caution if you’re considering using Popsicle (red) in a project of your own.
