Notes

Seems like all of these WIP pictures are shot with some kind of lighting that doesn’t show the colors correctly! It’s either too dark, too cool, or too warm. Probably the most accurate is the one of the sock on my foot. The FO pictures, especially the ones with the white background, are a bit more accurate.


Started these while riding in an A321 to a work-related conference! And, these are my first top-down heel flap socks, thus the simple pattern. Lucky me, despite the airplane ride, the stripes are matched to just a few stitches apart! Yay!


Heels are done! I did a 32-row eye of partridge heel, using the tail end of the yarn beginning with the reverse order of the color sequence. Unfortunately the pink areas have some blue/purple overdue spots and it’s quite obvious in the heels. Lucky me again, the stripes match pretty closely. That was total coincidence, as I was not paying attention to exactly where I started in the color repeat, so I guessed, fortunately mostly correctly.
