I figure she’ll want to use this more than one season so I made it a little on the big side. Scaled to a 49” tall child.

(49” / 4”) X 10sts = 122.5
+ 1 because it was an even # FDC = 123

I weighed all my yarn before and after and used 10.3 oz of the Red Heart Heather Grey and .9 oz of the unknown fuzzy pink. I did add some ruffles as a border on the hood to make it a little girly-er.

Overall, I am very pleased with how easily this project came together. I didn’t crochet hard every day to get it done in the time I had. Although I did procrastinate enough to be hooking the edging in the car on the way to the party. I did wait to try it on her before I sewed the ears on too. I wanted to make sure that they looked right on her.
