I LOVE THIS PROJECT!!

This coozie is so simple to work up (if you can’t fpdc or bpdc go to youtube and watch someone!). I made one of these a day, two days in a row. Both were gifts and I can’t wait till after Christmas, when I will have the time to make myself one or two of these little beauties!! The Claret(maroon) and Heather Grey was my first attempt and after working up the entire pattern, I decided that it needed a little something extra. I immediately grabbed a second color and added a simple sc border. And since one row is great, two must be even better! This time I sc along both long edges. But on the short edges I sc, ch 3, sk next sp, sc along. This gave me a nice contrasting color scheme and some great, eyelet-looking spots to lace my ribbon through. I gave the first one to a good friend and the second Paddy Green and White to my son’s kindergarten teacher. Wonderfully pleased!! :0)
