As with the first dress, I added more increases; when I reached 30 stitches between the first set of skirt increases, I counted in halfway, added another marker and then increases before and after those added markers. Again, the next time I reached 30 stitches between the “new” markers, I repeated with a new set of markers and increases. This gave the skirt more of a swirl to it and I love it!

did loads of xmas knitting in between which is why this took longer than the 2 days from the last time i made this pattern.

ran out of cc yarn at the bottom stripe - i think because i added sleeves - so i did 8 rounds of stripe then the ruffle but only did two straight rounds after each increase round and used the mc yarn to bind off. gave the dress more twirl and pizazz, i think. thank god for pleasant surprises.

MODS:
sleeves - picked up 44; 15 rounds on 5.0mm then switch to k1,p1 on 4.5mm for 8 rounds.

did three increase rounds as per pattern then started increasing every fifth round 8 times before i got bored. could’ve gone longer…

FOR NEXT TIME:
do seed stitch or ribbing for the chest stripe so sleeves won’t be so puffy?
