k 2 rounds
k 4 rounds of seed stitch in red
k1 in red
follow as per pattern for thumb gusset
k 6 rounds stockinette then 4 seed stitch rounds then 1 knit round
do fingers as per pattern - 7 rounds for pinky; 8 rounds everything else. did these in stockinette instead of rib to conserve yarn

12.23.12 - of course it wouldn’t be a maricel project without a screw up. and this one was major: i made two right hands. grrrrr! frogged and frantically knitted and made up for lost time and now it’s done. well, i still have to find a pattern to make it convertible… -_-
