this is a combo of this pattern and another circle shrug. i started the center in stockinette coz increasing in lace on DPs was a bear. then i did the majority of the center back in a lace from that other pattern i mentioned but can’t link/recall off the top of my head. then, when it was time to make the armholes, i switched to this pattern but felt it needed pizazz so i alternated stockinette and garter stitch to make stripes.

i like it. it’s warm. just can’t seem to figure out how to wear it without fussing with it. closure or no? long side or short? grrrrrr… but at least it was a fun, easy knit and it will always remind me of boston, where i was when i first started. :D
