super easy but the pattern may have been incorrect as far as gauge. i used the exact same yarn and started with size 10s as directed but as i worked the body of the hat, it seemed it needed to be size 11s which i worked my way up to (did half the body on 10.5s first) and i like it much better. it’s looser and worked up faster on 11s.
