Finished Gusset decreases and second Lace Pattern repeat. Will end Lace Pattern of Sole after Rnd 9 of fourth repeat like I did in my first sock.

03-08-2023 Knitting Lace Pattern across Instep, Gusset decreases on every other round and stockinette across Sole. Knit up to round 7 of first of 4 Lace Pattern repeats before Toe

Finished fourth and final repeat of Lace Pattern, knit Heel and Heel Turn and successfully picked up 17 Gusset stitches.

Lost my knitting MOJO for awhile, but must finish this second sock before I receive ordered yarn for my next project, Variance Hat designed by Janette Budge. Already purchased and printed the pattern!!

01-22-2023 Knit Rnds 11-17 this morning … almost done with Gusset decreases

01-21-2023 Successfully knit Heel Flap and Heel Turn. Picked up 17 Gusset stitches on each side of Heel Flap. I always make a M1R before Instep and M1L after Instep to close the gaps Knitting decreases while knitting stockinette across Sole.

So this Heel Flap starts on the WS to keep ribbing pattern, something new for me?! I have knit over 30 pairs of socks and the instructions should mention how you hold your working yarn when slipping the first stitch of Rows 1 & 2; in front, or in back. It is important to create the slipped stitch properly for picking up Gusset stitches. I guess this designer assumes the knitter has experience and why this pattern is for an intermediate knitter. NO PROBLEM

01-17-2023 Stopped this morning after knitting Rnd 5 of Lace Pattern Stitch.

Remember that the back 31 sts starts and ends with a purl stitch.

OMG This Cuff is SPECTACULAR I was concerned about folding after the first Eyelet rnd and 7 rnds in stockinette, but it is very easy!!! I put the picked up edge stitch in front of my stitch on my left needle and then K2tog. What a beautiful Cuff
