Tip: When it says to keep repeating rows 2 and 3 until it measures approximately 43”, just make 75 rows, and it will end at a row 3, as the pattern indicates. Since the edging instructions say to make two sc’s at the ends of each row and to crochet 150 sc’s evenly along the row ends, you need to have 75 rows (75 x 2 sc’s per row = 150 sc’s). That’s easier to figure out so that you end up with the right number of sc’s on each side to complete the edging.

I used Caron One Pound. It’s ww, but it’s much heavier than other ww yarns. I ended up using 898 grams of yarn. The flower is the Multilayered Flower.
