I’m not really a shawl wearer, but this turned out so nicely that it makes me want to change my ways.

I like this pattern a lot. It had enough variety to keep it interesting, but I could work for long stretches without consulting the pattern. This was my first time working with i-cord edging, and I like how it turned out.

Since I had a limited amount of yarn, I followed the instructions for heavy worsted weight in Section 5, and it worked out just right!

Weight of skein before starting: 122g
After Section 1: 119g => S1 used 3g (14yd)
After Section 2: 113g => S2 used 6g (28yd)
After Section 3: 89g => S3 used 24g (111yd)
After Section 4: 49g => S4 used 40g (185yd)
After Section 5 (heavy ww): 11g => S5 used 38g (176yd)
After Finishing: 5g => F used 6g (28yd)
