thumb: picked up 1 stitch on thumb to close gap (10 st); garter stitch 3 rows.
added length at wrist: pick up cast on; knit 6 rows; row 7 K1, P1 around; row 8: P1, K1 around; row 9: K1, P1 around; row 10-15: knit; repeat rows 7-9; BO on larger needles.
