Started the Cardi on December 24 and knit myself into a sort of frenzy. When I woke up, the body part was done.

I didn’t use the pattern given in the Rainbow Kauni, but took another one; quite simple and easy, since you don’t have to carry the strands for more than three stitches. Great fun to knit, let’s see whether I will be able to wear the thing on New Year’s Eve. Would be fun, I suppose.

Update January 4: Couldn’t find appropriate buttons so far, but else it is done, therefore I gave it a “finished”. Perhaps I might have to frog the front ribbing and make it a propoer hem, since it seems quite sloppy to me. We’ll see when I’ve got buttons.

Update January 15: I will have to re-do the edging at the front and neck, because they are too sloppy. Never mind, the thing is worth the effort, I think. Will have to hurry though in order to finish this, the Fair-Isle Sweater and two pairs of socks before Ravelympics.

Update August 1: Re-did the edgings, the thing needs washing and will then be complete - finally. I love it!
