Notes
  1. CO 76 sts.

  2. K2, P2, repeat across row- for 3”

  3. Work stockinette till piece measures 14.5” total length.

  4. K2, P2, repeat across for for 3” (now 17.5” length.)

  5. Bind off loosely in pattern.

  6. Fold piece in half with RS out. Place markers along both sides leaving an opening towards the foldline for “arm holes.” Try shrug on for armhole size. For this one I merely seamed up the sides from the bottom upwards till about 1/2” past the ribbing. Fits great.

  7. Sew up the sides, leaving armholes, and weave in ends. Done! Wear. (Can be worn with the ribbing up by the neck left flat like the first photo or folded over a bit like a “collar” like photo two …both ways look great!)

Yardage note: I don’t have a scale so am guessing at the yardage used, I may have used even less. There is a nice size ball of yarn left from this skein I used.
