This year for Mother’s Day my Mom asked me to knit her another pair of socks. I had knit her 1 pair previously and she adores them. I think if she could only wear hand knit socks she would love it, but, wouldn’t we all?

I used my standard Pom Pom Peds pattern by the Purl Bee, one of my favourite online sites for knit patterns. I used Koigu again but this time in a different colour way. I thought that my Mom would prefer a bit more subtle of a colour pallet.

Notes on the knitting:
I used Signature DPN’s in Size US 1/2.25mm (Green) needles with Koigu KPPPM in P319L339 . I did not gage for this project. I used 1.3 skeins = 65 grams / 227.5 yards. I knit as per the pattern for a size 6 foot.
