Corntea is having a baby in October so the Uptown Knit Mob has gotten together and knit her a blanket. I haven’t been a member of the group for very long so I was super excited to get to participate with this project. The lovely women in this group make group blankets for either extra super awesome members or for new babies.

We were all given dimensions and type of wool to purchase. The only criteria we had was to match our colour choice to the Married to the Mob (I think that is what it is called, please correct me if I am wrong) colourway from Waterloo Wools. I only had a picture of the wool so I wend with brown and hoped that it would look ok. The square could be any pattern that we wished as long as the dimensions were 4x8.

I am glad that I can finally share this project. It was a joy to knit for baby Corntea as his mom is awesome.
