I designed this pattern so that my daughter would have something on her feet in the hot summer months without putting on shoes. She HATES shoes. Plus, it always seems that someone wants to squeeze her feet. These give her a little extra protection without weighing down her toes, which she needs out for all the toddling she’s doing. She just started walking!
