I’m charted my own pattern, after carefully examining photos of the original dissent collar and basing the sweater body on Meg’s garland necklace yoke.

I got to the armpits. I meant to add bust short rows, so I need to frog one body inch and do some short rows. Oh. Well.

I’m doing the sleeves, 2@@t. 4” garter, on normal cuff size stitches, and increased immediately to full sleeve width. Am at 15”, need 20. Feels like it’s tak8ng forever, but I think I’m doing about 1+”/hour.

Don’t forget to add shoulder short rows, just before starting the pattern.

All this plain black is going to kill me!

10 toes into the silver pattern, and the invisible stranding wasn’t quite right. The skinny lines were too tight. Frogged back, pattern tweaked and recharted, and markers place along the needles, for each repeat, ctr front and back, and arms.

Frogged the yoke 3-4 times. Finally doing it with all black, and I willduolicate stitch the color pattern. The last iteration LOOKED great, but was 1/2 st per inch looser, which adds up to way too much. Going down needle sizes and trying again was more than I could bear, and might not even work, since the extra width was mostly from leaving the stranding loose enough to not pull. So, duplicate stitch we go. I’m already up past the first decreases in not very much time put into knitting. Maybe I’ll get it done during a drive I’m on tomorrow.

Body done. Back kind of wiggly. Might need to redo yoke. Ugh. But I’m going to do some duplicate stitching, and then decide.
