Let your KFBs keep track of where you are! On row 1, place a marker between the F and B of the KFB (1 stitch behind marker). As you increase, the number of stitches behind the marker equals your row count. Then you just remove it on row 8 and replace it on row 1.

6/29: 11 teeth, 17 gms used

6/30: 16 teeth, 40 gms used

7/2: 21 teeth, 70 gms used. The long edge is already nearly 5 ft long, and my friend is just 5’2” or so, so I definitely don’t see a need to break into the second ball. I figure I can get 2-3 more reps before I need to bind off.

7/3: 22 teeth, 78 gms used.

I used JSSBO. Finished product has 23 teeth, weighs 88 gms, and I have 8 gms leftover. (If I’d had a full 100 gms I might have eked out one more rep, but it just seemed too close.) It’s soaking now!
