Finished a long time ago, forgot to block it and photo it! It’s difficult to get a photo that would show true colors, it’s just spectacularly… colorful!

Blocked by steam-ironing out the spikes with super-hot teflon coated iron -- the synthetic yarn does need some extra kick to be convinced to stay in the intended shape. But because the yarn is microfibre (plied and plied again and then plied again), it doesn’t lose structure and volume after ironing.

First skein down. It’s not huge, but 2 skeins should give me enough wingspan to wear it. I have to take a break from this project to finish off legwarmers before my legs freeze off.

It’s been ages since I crocheted with 100% acrylics, and never with microfibre. But the yarn is sweet to touch, and maybe for once I will be able to actually wear something I make!
