Notes

Notes

  1. I had to go up to US 8 needles to get gauge for the body. I used US 5 for the neckband ribbing since I am using a 50/50 cotton/wool blend yarn and I anticipate some growing. I stayed with US 6 for the body and sleeve ribbing.
  2. I cast on for the size S and increases in the yoke till I had the counts for the L. Then I finished the body with the stitch counts for the L.
  3. Followed the notes from kathysknittingtoo for the front neck cast on to create a smoother neckline.
  4. I knit 5 repeats of the lace pattern before I started the ribbing.
  5. I wanted the neckband to be a bit more substantial and mimic the body and sleeve hems, so I picked up enough stitches for a multiple of 4. I knit 5 rounds with US 6 needles, 5 rounds with US 5 in 2x2 rib, knit one round then BO knitwise.
