Notes

04/01/2024 - I’ve been eying this top for a while now and recently rediscovered this cotton yarn DEEP (27 years deep) in my stash that I thought would make it a nice summer top.

NOTES

  1. I had concerns about the armholes and neckline stretching out with wear since I am using a 100% cotton yarn, so I used a US 7 needle for neck/armhole bands and the ribbing. Hindsight I might have been ok with US 8 for the neck/armhole bands, but I have no regrets with the US 7.
  2. I knit the armholes above the 1st increase 1/2” shorter than the pattern calls for.
  3. I knit the body 1” longer than the pattern calls for.
  4. I sewed down the armbands the same way as instructed for the neckband.
