05/22/2024 - preparing to participate int he 2024 #travelerhatkalchallenge over the Memorial Day weekend. I am going to use some leftover handspun yarn that is probably closer to a sport weight yarn, but there are so many size option, I think I will be OK.

NOTES

1. I am using US 5 needles and casting on for the fingering weight size 5.
2. Not so sure about the finished hat. I kind of wish I had knit 1/2” to 1” more length before starting my decreases, as the shape the 4-point decreases makes is pretty sharp. Maybe once it dries post blocking, the shape will be better.
