11/17/2023 - I decided to knit myself a Christmas sock this year. Going to do a plain toe up, short row heel sock.

I decided to make a crazy quilt project bag to hold my Christmas sock projects in. I managed to squeeze it out of all stash fabrics and embroidery threads. The yarn came with the adorable “I’m Santa’s Favorite” progress keeper and it inspired me to make 2 more using stash beads I had (glass Santa and crystal drop)

NOTES

1. I did a Turkish cast on with 24 stitches to start the toe. I increased till I had 68 stitches.
2. I did a short row heel on N2 of row 62. If I were to knit this formula again with this yarn, I would knit 64 rows.
3. I knit 86 rows before starting the cuff.
4. I did 3 color changes/2black stripes in 2x2 ribbing before binding off the cuff. This made the cuff bind-off black. I did have to splice in extra black yarn to ensure the entire bind off edge was black.
