01/02/2022 - I made a dress as part of the Doll It Up January sew along and felt like a scarf could finish the outfit out nicely… so I whipped this number up. The completed outfit will get included in my The Cincinnati Salvation Army Toy Shop Auxiliary donations for 2022.

Modifications

1. With my yarn/thread choice, I was struggling to get the yo after the slip stitch to look nice. To make the situation easier and cleaner, I just changed to a kfb increase through the entire scarf. For sequence one - Sl1, kfb, k to the end of the row. For sequence 2 - Sl1, kfb in next 2 stitches, k to the end of the row.
2. For the first sequence, I knit to 3.25” and the second sequence, I knit to 5.5”.
3. I only used 1 strand of yarn/thread for the fringe.
4. I did a quick steam block of my scarf once it was complete. It definitely helped to set the fringe and seems to be keeping the girth hitch from coming undone.
