Notes

Our ashford knitter loomies group is doing a WAL that coolsticks thought up hand woven roller towel!!
This is done on my arh loom
I used 8/2 cottonlin doubled in some areas for the warp but i think i will go wild with the weft!!
I am using the new varident reed!
Thoughts on the vari dent heddle
The last two photos so how the single threaded warps in the 15 heddle morphed a lot
The selvage sections were a 12 the center was a 10 with the warps doubled!
I think i i would have prefered the whole towel warp double threaded warps in a 10 rather than use the the vari dent reed . BUT i plan to purposefully use that morphed effect again only in an entire warp on another piece .
I experimented and am glad i did! The towel has lots of interest and is just right for the clay/ ceramic studio!
Update my dh says it is to nice for the clay studio SOOO he returned to it is now in the kitchen!
I made machine button holes and my wedding cake buttons stacked from my recycled button stash .
Life is to short for even a dull hand wipe towel!
Saori weaving lives!!!
