SOLD A SLEEVED, GUSSETED , ruana with pockets.
I can not stand walking the dog, or driving in capes and ruana’a so i designed sleeves and pockets for keys , phone etc. 10 years ago i designed my back gusseted ruana’s so that the handwoven fabric draped nicely over shoulders.
This lovely fabric was woven by by friend tighe we did a trade! i wove extra for the gusset sleeves and fringes and pockets. It looks deceptively simple but actually it ia quite the feat to get the sleeves , gusset , and all the other pieces to fit and balance just right.
