Pattern is from a booklet of 18” doll clothing patterns I purchased from Mary Maxim. I needed a quick project to give myself a bit of a break from two large afghans in a row.

Found an error with the lower edging…it should be all 3dc clusters, not shells as written. The picture shows clusters, and using shells will make the lower skirt too full in comparison. I made slight changes to the pattern since I used all one yarn, not a variety of colours; therefore the breaks were not needed.

I had to go up to a 3.75mm hook. The dress fit with a 3.25, but was extremely short. I frogged the project, and redid it with the 3.75. It still ended up only about 8” long at the end of instructions. I did a total of 8 rounds of the clusters, and ended up just under a 10” finished length. I doubt I will have an FO pic until after Christmas.
