I haven’t decided if I like this hat or not. It’s either delightfully quirky, or just weird.

Edit: I think I do like it, after all. It would be interesting to see how it would knit up in a variegated yarn, what with the short rows and all.
You can’t tell in the photos, but the yarn is sparkly, like fresh snow.

Edit again: I think this is my new favorite hat for days when my hair is misbehaving. I can just tuck my hair up in it and go. I didn’t get the whole wrap and turn thing on this one, hence the open stitches spiraling out from the center, but I kind of like the way that turned out. I could lace ribbon through there if I wanted.
