Got the pattern and yarn from my husband for christmas, couldn’t wait to start knitting it! The yarn is uneven in thickness (it’s a single-ply), and smells of lanolin. Lovely, if you like natural wool!
Body of shawl took almost half of the 122 g skein (59 grams). Now on to the ruffle!
Finished! Binding off 800-something stitches did take a while, but otherwise this was an easy and fun knit, and I learned a new, one-row method of knitting nupps.
