Getting started on a new blanket for Briana’s newest baby girl that is due in September.

I did modify the width of the strips by increasing the stitch count from 14 to 21 stitches because I wanted the blanket to be about 36” by 36”

Well, it has taken me a week to weave in all the ends. Looks pretty good. The back where all the ends are woven doesn’t look as good as I would like. I’m going to try washing and drying in dryer to see how it looks and then snip any ends that pop. Keeping fingers crossed.

Ok, it looks pretty bad after the gentle wash. V e r y
stretched out. Drying in the dryer brought it back into shape and then going over with a fabric shaver got rid of all the fuzz. There was a TON of lint in the dryer.
