This month is sw00d1e’s Queue Swap, Feb.2015. I have actually had these mitts in my q also for a while now. Now is as good as any time to make them.

Wanted red, black and charcoal. I have no charcoal. :(
Feb.6 Picked pattern, picking yarn may start later tonight, if I have time and if not will get them going tomorrow.
Have a birthday this week-end also. :)

Welllll I have the first section done. Not sure I am understanding the next step exactly. Hope to figure it out tomorrow.
Actually made two today. Didn’t like the feel of the first yarn. So did another in bugga. Much squishier.
Going to be a little smaller too because I thought I had 2.75 and actually had 2.5.

I need to start over. Was not getting heads or tails of this pattern. Think I might have it now. Still a little confused, but…. Will see tomorrow just how much I did figure out. I am probably just reading things wrong or something….

Am On the move now. :) figured it out. Makes sense, but takes a bit, at least for me, to figure it out.

Feb.10 not enough time today to finish the first one. Almost though. 1 wave to fo and seam.

Feb.11 Garter st kitchenerd seam and worked in threads. still need to do thumb. Start second mitt tomorrow.

Feb.12 Almost finished with 2nd mitt. just two waves and kitchner. O yeah, better do the thumbs. lol Hopfully have them finidhed in the morning.

Fits perfect. Love the yarns. A lot more Rich vibrant IRL.
If, and probably will if don’t get side tracked to long, I would add length to the hand. I don’t like them that short, but they will come in handy at the house.
