Notes

Started this 10 CAL with the Crochet Crowd back in February, we are on week 9 as I write this. I had been trying to keep a positive attitude all along even though after getting started and seeing what we where doing I began my doubts about my ability to pick color combinations. Yarnspirations.com gave us color pallets to pick from and I picked one light palette and one bright color palette to do and my mind has gone back and forth wish I like more…just like more, not love…..If I look at them with a unattached eye I say that they are ok and maybe interesting, but while I am crocheting I am thinking they are the ugliest things I have ever made.

The size bothers me too, they are as small as a very small baby afghan yet the color pallets we had to pick from where not baby afghan colors. We actually picked these color pallets without knowing what we where going to make with the yarn and that is a hard thing to do. Some peoples turned out very pretty and it all had to do with the colors they picked. Some after we got going and they saw what it was going to look like frogged theirs and bought new colors so theirs would look nice. I just kept what I had.

I did have a ton of fun just doing the CAL with other ppl, talking crocheting and idea’s and so forth, even looked forward to every Tuesday to get our new clue….I would do this again if the chance would ever arise also even though I am not happy with the afghans themselves.

I have no idea what I will do with them, after all clues are in I have some idea’s on jazzing them up a little and then will most likely donate somewhere…..
