I altered this pattern somewhat, I did not put the sleeves on, just went around the sleeve holes with a single crochet. I also found this pattern to be a little incomplete so I winged it in places where I felt it was incomplete, I really did not see where they incorporated the legs holes and diaper flap in this pattern, so after I finished off I found center, and hdc 11 (6 rows) on both back and front, then went around with a single crochet. Also, when you are starting this pattern you are starting at the neck so if you want to do the neck in a contrasting color, start with your contrasting color. hope this helps with this pattern, it is very cute when made up and you can actually do a lot with it…like give it legs, maybe long sleeves and so on :-), oh and it takes about 3 hours to make if you do it straight through, so very fast gift….that is 3 hours on the 2cd one you make, the 1st one may take longer because the pattern is not is a little incomplete and you may have to wing it in some places as I did.
