Gauge on 3s is 22.5st & 28row/4ins. It was closer to 23 st. before blocking.

2/9: Made my legs about 5” long, 32 rows high. Each was almost a full skein. I only have four skeins, so hopefully if I make them low-rise and use a contrast color for the inside waistband I will have enough.

2/18: Ran out of yarn when it was just under a inch from where I wanted my waistband. I thought about switching to a contrast color, but then I realized I could just drive to a Jo-Ann’s and buy another skein of yarn. On my fifth ball for the top of the shorts and the waistband. My front is getting higher than I wanted, but I need the extra height in the back to make up for my butt. Short rows for the back might have been helpful.
