Using Jessie’s beautiful handspun yarn to make her this cropped cardigan for her wedding! Using the Pop Crop Cardi as the base pattern, but attempting to add the lace raglan lines from the Lobelia pattern.

Took some serious modifications! My gauge was different, so I used the numbers of a smaller size. I had to add an extra stitch at the front to give the raglan lace sections enough stitches. After doing half of the increases, I realized that I needed to add an additional increase on Row 8. The Lobelia lace stitch pattern only adds 6 stitches every 8 rows, and I needed 8 stitches. So I ripped back and modified the stitch pattern for the right stitch count.

Used the twisted cable ribbing from Lobelia at the hem and bottom of the sleeves. I had to increase every fourth row on the sleeves to get down to the right diameter by the cuff. I think Pop Crop has looser sleeves than I wanted. Did the front bands in 1x1 ribbing.

Turned out great! Also, kind of ended up being reversible!
