Took me awhile to get the cast on at first. I think the new plan is to cast on over a circular and a DPN, but have the circular needle being the top needle. My medium star with fingering weight yarn and size US0/2.00mm ended up only only 5.5cm/ 2.1 inches across.

Have done a few more. I like the look of the ribbed star a lot! I’ve stopped blocking them before finishing. They look pretty good and it’s annoying to block on the needles. I might steam them afterwards. Switched to a 2.25mm needle. And definitely the circular is the top needle, because it will be the bottom once you turn the purl row outwards.

7 total. for the medium, I started using six body lengths, but still had some leftover. That’s a little short for the large ribbed one though. The measuring is the worst part of these. And the fiddly start…
