Ribbing feels pretty loose. Maybe I would have gone down a needle size. The embroidery stitch takes some getting used to. I trapped the float after each repeat instead of twisting the yarns.

I knit according to the pattern and it was a little short for my taste. The decreases really do only take 1/2”! I knit five more rows before decreases, then added some extra rows within the decrease section to give myself a little more depth.
