I’ve had this scarf/shawl queued for quite a while. So in keeping with my working on old projects, I’m also going to work on projects which have been in my queue for some time.

2016-04-09: Cast on per pattern instructions using LTCO. Complete Row 60; end of first section.

2016-04-12: Complete row 100, section B complete.

2016-04-19: Complete section C, row 131. Start sections D, E, F & G. Complete row 159. Its kind of lanky right now.

2016-04-30: Complete row 176. I have sections D, E, F, G & H on the needle right now; still lanky.

2016-05-10: Complete row 192.

2016-06-14: Complete row 232. Shawl has some substance now.

2016-06-15: Complete row 254.

2016-06-18: Complete knitting.

2016-07-25: Finally got around to blocking it. Now I need pictures.

Summary

• Based on a previous knit of a Heidi Kirrmaier pattern, where my gauge on the specified needles was tighter, I’m going to increase my needle size by one. Since I have over 800 yards of yarn, I should be OK.

• On row 251, the “k68” includes the stitch resulting from the bindoff.
