For the short rows use W&T it doesn’t say to do this in the pattern. I’m not picking up the wraps as they are not noticeable.
For the first half of short rows: knit to the stitch count for your size and place first marker,w&t, knit back 10 sts. place a second marker,knit to end, kfSlipb. On the next row k to the second marker,w&t, k back 10 sts, place a third marker and so on…
For second half of short rows: P2tog, knit to last placed marker, remove marker, w&t, … and repeat all the way back to the first marker.
I only realised making the very last one that purling 2 tog instead of k2 tog gives a neater finish and prevents the ‘curled’ edge of the pointed short row section {see pics}
Not quite got gauge, just under, but the pattern states the FO stretches a lot in both directions and to go a size smaller so I think it will be OK.
I’m using an unknown fingering for the contrast sections. I bought it some time ago at a market and cannot remember any details about it except it’s a hand spun undyed( It’s been waiting a long time for the right project to come along so, fingers crossed!!)
I’m 50g short of the rose garden so will add another yarn in the striped sections to stretch it out.

Sleeve 1 completed 21/9/17 Pattern directions have been fairly good until the sleeves !!?!! First sleeve photo is the RS showing the fade (because of pink yarn shortage) second photo is the WS……and on to the second sleeve
Sleeve 2 completed and seaming in progress YaY!!
All finished but sleeves don’t seem to match the rest!! If I could be bothered I’d rip them and reknit - but they’re sewn in and it’s done.
Oops! forgot to add that I single chained all around the neckline for a neater finish.
