Using old sirdar boucle yarn re-purposed from a cardigan I made in the ‘80’s.The fair isle will be in dk for lilac and green and sport for denim blue. Not sure yet if I’ll go for long sleeves, 3/4 sleeves or any sleeves!!
I’m using 5mm needles to open up the fabric further - aiming for a loose fitting, airy, style.

25/2/17/ first full pattern repeat completed, measures 7’’ (above the rib) may not need to do 4 rep’s - measure again after 2nd rep.
Pattern is nice,chart is easy to follow and lace section is very easy to remember :)
Back completed and front underway. I added a 4 row seed stitch section after row 14 on the second and third repeat to help lengthen it to tunic style. I didn’t do the last Waves and Crosses design at the neck, I wanted just the cream at the top and I changed the short row shoulder shaping to a standard finish.
Front completed today May 12th 2018 after a long lay off!!
CO for a short(ish) sleeve, will see how it goes.
Sleeves done and neck finished with single rib, it fits well and I’m happy with it yay!
