Left over aran in purple and pink, 1 strand of each held together throughout. Each bootie weighs 60g so 120g total.

CO 72 sts. Knit 11 rows
Next row: K 35,pm,K2,pm,K35
Row 1(RS): K to 2 sts before marker,SSK, k2 between markers, K2tog and K to end
Row2:K3, Purl to 2 sts before marker,P2tog,K2 sts between markers, P2tbl,P to last 3 sts, K3.
Continue rows 1&2 until there are 26 sts on each side of the markers, double the decreases for 4 rows ending on a WS, 8 stitches each side decreased leaving 18 sts either side of markers. Next row(RS) do a single decrease each side,17 sts either side of markers
On following WS row start garter st for cuff (4 ridges on RS) and cast off loosely- k2 slip both sts back to left needle and k2togtbl, K1, slip both sts back to left needle and k2togtbl, K1 and so on…….
Finish as per pattern instructions.

easy pattern to adjust for fit - add cast on sts for foot length but remember to decrease quicker.To make them a snugger fit around ankle - decrease a couple more sts. Cuff can be much longer(ugg style) or just 1 or 2 ridges of garter for more of a slipper look than a bootie.
