3/4/17 clue4 finished and it is off the needles YAY!! it’s too late for washing and blocking tonight, will try tomorrow if the weather brightens. Couldn’t fathom the dangly bind off instructions so muddled through with a ‘version’ of it, we’ll see how it looks when blocked - yikes!!

2/4/17 clue3 finished and clue 4 underway, only another 8 rows to bind off( time to make a decision - dangles or no!!)
31/3/17 Clue 2 completed and clue 3 underway. Other than my addi click cords unclicking TWICE grr! all is going well
27/3/17 Had a couple of other kals to finish to be able to concentrate on this one. Loving clue 2, you can just see the beads in a photo but in real time they glisten like frost :)
23/3/17 Clue1 completed. Almost too afraid to say I’m happy with it!! Ooh! pretty with lace and beads,up to row 55 clue 2 and that’s it for today:)

22/3/17 Got to row 71 clue 2 and have frogged the white version,who was I trying to kid - it was hideous!!
Have rummaged into dark deep stash and uncovered an Ice Yarns Rose Alpaca 4ply I’d forgotten all about.Hmm! will try it tomorrow (can probably do clue 1 blindfolded by now so it shouldn’t take too long ;)

15/3/17 : Starting again, using a baby dk in white with a satin thread running through it, from deep stash (10+yrs) (forgot I had it left over from a baby shawl) I’m using 5mm needles to expand it and no beads as it may be used as a baby’s shawl if all goes well (and it has a sheen to it anyways!!) Clue 1 completed, I like it if I think of it as a baby’s shawl!! Will continue on because I HAVE to make this shawl, but I will make one again in more suitable yarn.

9/2/17 The sport is too dark and too heavy,frogging today :(

8/2/17 The only solid colour 4ply I have in stash doesn’t have enough yardage. I’m trying it with an uk alpaca sport in midnight on 4.5mm needles.It’s a bit darker than I’d like it to be, but it’s all I’ve got.Third attempt please be the charm….

7/2/17 Frogged the opal is also too busy for this pattern - I need a solid colour!!

Frogged the Araucania didn’t like how the colour & pattern was developing - mouldy mud!!
I have an Opal 4ply Lasst Blumen Sprechen to try next.

First 10 rows completed - but not sure about this colourway yet, so far it looks like slightly frosted mud!!
May do the first clue and then decide.
