On this pair of socks I’m going to try using the SYTK version of an ssk. It turns out way nicer than plain ssks!

I’m using a timer to “clock in” while I knit these socks so I can figure out how long it actually takes me to knit socks!

So far I’ve spent 5 hours and 10 minutes for the cuff and first pattern repeat. Plus 4 hrs 45 minutes for the second repeat and heel flap. Plus 3 hrs 30 min for first foot pattern repeat (Hey, I’m getting quicker at this!). Plus 3 hrs 45 min for the last pattern rep and toe.

Finished sock 1 on the 26th! All together it took me 18 hrs and 10 minutes.

Forgot to time the second sock, but I started Friday and finished Sunday after knitting ALL weekend!

Second sock was mirrored by flipping the chart on my computer. I’ll take better pictures tomorrow with natural light. The night-time finished images don’t do the dark spruce color justice.
