Notes

Well, I started with the new lavender jacket pattern and ended up with the old pattern
I was disappointed with the purchased English version of the pattern. After casting on 111 stitches I wondered why it turned out to be such huge jacket! There was an error in the s/m pattern (Pickles told me that it’s now fixed). Also, I did not really understand their explanation for Brioche (It’s actually the fisherman’s rib, as I found out now), so I did it the yo way.

Eventually, I frogged my entire work and started all over again with 84 stitches. I’m pretty excited and I hope it works now! I’m going to do this with button holes (which look terrible at the moment) and longer sleeves, mixing up the two patterns.

I’m done now. This took me such a long time to knit, sometimes I ribbed parts again (sleeves..) because I picked up too many stitches around the arms.
It’s the perfect jacket for cold summer nights but also for autumn & winter. I wear it all the time now.

Two and a half years later: I would not recommend knitting another piece of clothing in Zitron Nimbus. It’s such a pleasure to wear but it pills like CRAZY. My jacket looks so old now…

More pictures of the finished object coming (at least I hope)

Blogged about it here (German).
